you can bring your dog or other pet
except during concerts
Except during concerts, pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash (because of our peacocks), as long as they are pet friendly themselves and get along with other animals, and as long as you clean up after them. During concerts no pets are allowed.
Yes you can bring in your own canoe, No we do not allow any swimming
You can bring in your own very small boat or canoe, there is no boat ramp, so you have to carry it in, hence the very small boat. If you do bring your own canoe/Kayak, etc... you must wear a life jacket, bring your own.
We do not allow any swimming in our lake, life guards and insurance are too expensive and the water is murky.
Yes we have showers!
Horning's Hideout now has a brand new tiled shower
building located above the amphitheater! Open 24/7, 5 men, 5 women and
operates on tokens. A token machine will be at the showers, tokens are
$5 for a 5 minute shower.
Yes we have WIFI Hot Spots!
Good news! Horning's Hideout now has a couple of very large wifi hot
spots, one up by the buildings and 1st parking lot and one that covers
the entire amphitheater/vendor area/lake. Coho Internet has set these up,
and to use them you just have to find the hot spot, go to Coho to get a
password ($5 a day) and log in.
campfires are allowed at certain times
please check what our current fire policy is before lighting campfires
Campfires are allowed except during a concert and during fire season. Fire season is usually July through September. During this time absolutely no campfires (in a container or not) or open flames such as tiki torches or open candles are allowed. Please bring a propane stove to cook with. Usually there are fires allowed from October through about the end of June, depending on weather.
we provide fire pits
We have movable fire pits (we move them out during fire season). When campfires are permitted, please use them so that there is no evidence of fire on the ground. That way during fire season campers will not mistake scorch marks on the ground as a fire area.
