| | The New Horning's Hideout Email List
| New for this year, we are pulling together an email mailing list. In an effort to help get the word out about and support these incredible events we are lining up here at Horning's Hideout this summer!
We'll be using this list to broadcast show announcements, lineup changes when we get them, sellout status, and anything else related to Horning's that we think you should know about.
Get yourself on our list by giving us your email address and zipcode. The zipcode is optional, but it helps us to keep from sending you email you don't care about.
Don't worry, we won't give or sell your email address to anyone and you can get off this list at any time by signing up again - this removes your email address from our database, or you can just send an email to remove@horningshideout.com.

| | Liability Release Statement
| | Here at Horning's Hideout we work very hard at bringing you a safe place to enjoy, but being this is the great outdoors accidents such as (but not limited to) falls can happen. By simply being on this property you agree to hold Horning’s Hideout and Horning’s family harmless and not liable for any injury sustained to you or someone under your care. If you do not agree with this policy we ask you to please leave (carefully) and enjoy the great outdoors elsewhere.

This Page is our Special Rules for Concerts and Festivals, Not All Rules Apply for Everyday Use: Please, for everyone's safety and security, we ask that you respect our rules when visiting Horning's Hideout!
Please remember that the following rules are for your health and safety or as a result of Federal/Oregon Law.
Please help us to keep our ability to host these kinds of events by respecting each of our rules and each other.
Breaking these rules may result in your wristband being cut and you being escorted off the property or worse.
|

ABSOLUTELY NO FIRES OR CANDLES! This is a wooded canyon, so campfires and candles are strictly forbidden. Violators will have wrist bands cut and expelled. Smoke only in designated areas. In case of fire do not try to drive out, follow instructions of concert staff and proceed to safe areas. Safe camping stoves (propane, off the ground) are permitted, though in dry seasons there may be designated cooking areas. Plenty of food will be available for sale at very reasonable prices.
|

THE GOLDEN RULE…. Be respectful to your neighbors and their campsite. Be kind to each other, share space, and help someone else who is in need….
|

SORRY, NO DOGS ALLOWED DURING CONCERTS! We're sorry, we understand that to many folks dogs are family, but we just can’t deal with the impact and risks involved with having your dog at the show. So we will not tolerate dogs in either the parking lot or the venue itself during concerts. Unfortunately some folks bring their animals to events anyway and leave them in their car. Animal Control will break your car window to liberate animals as well as remove any dog left tied to a car. All dogs found tied up outside of the concert site will be immediately impounded by the local SPCA - THE OWNERS WILL BE CITED IN ALL CASES.
In addition, there are peacocks that run wild on the site- and they don’t like dogs if you can believe that!
Limited local kennel housing will be available with advance registration for a reasonable fee. Please call one of the following locations to be responsible about your dog….
Rock Creek Kennels - (503)-645-2912
Sunset Kennels - (503)-648-4331
Schroeder’s Den - (503)-614-9899
Hillsboro Vet Clinic - (503)-648-4117
A Pretty Pets - (503)-359-7542

LATE NIGHT DRUMMING Sorry, as soon as the main stage music stops, that is the limit and end to our noise variance for that day. After that time we can not allow any late night drumming (during the day it's welcome). As many know, we've been through a lot in the last couple of years and have finally got our permits for concerts again, and late night drumming would jepardize our permits. Please help yourselves and keep this venue going by respecting our neighbors by not drumming or playing loud music in the camp grounds late at night. Thanks. |

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL Due to restrictions in our insurance policy we are required to enforce this alcohol issue. A variety of microbrews, traditional beer as well as wine will be available with proper ID.
*ID IS MANDITORY TO PURCHASE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES*.
Please note that vehicles will be searched upon entering the campground and alcohol will be confiscated.
|

NO ILLICIT DRUG USE OR SALES This is in compliance with Federal and Oregon law. Violators will promptly lose their wristbands and have a meeting with AUTHORITIES. |

NO WEAPONS, FIREWORKS OR NITROUS OXIDE These items will be confiscated and violators will be promptly removed from the venue.
|

VEHICLE SEARCH Due to overwhelming security concerns, all vehicles are subject to search before entering the property. If you refuse to have your vehicle searched you will be turned away- no exceptions. For security reasons we will not be allowing any oversized rental type trucks onto the property. The Box Office will be set apart from the concert grounds. You will be processed in your vehicles at the Box Office Lot and sent down to the parking area.
|

CAMPING There is no “Car Camping” available (tents next to cars or RVs). This is done for safety reasons, in case someone leaves in the middle of the night we don't want any body to be run over. Please do not slow down in-bound traffic with requests to “car camp” or park at the spot you were in last year- we simply cannot accommodate these requests.
|

RV CAMPING Recreational Vehicles, RV Trailers and Buses will be parked in a separate area. RENTED BOX VANS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED. There are no electric hook ups or dump stations available on site at all- not even for Artists and Crew. The RV Parking Lot is limited in size. Space in this lot is available by special RV pass basis only. We regret that due to size limitations once the RV Parking Lot is full that all RVs and trailers will be parked in a remote lot. This lot is for parking only and for the storage of the RVs, not for camping. So if you have your RV in this lot you must bring a tent and find a place in the camping areas. Leveling shims (boards or similar) are recommended. For other vehicles that people intend to sleep in that are undersized (vans, pickups with canopies) we will try to accommodate you by placing you in a level area. Although we would like to honor the requests for a large space next to undersized vehicles so you can put out chairs and camping gear next to your VW, we can not, for it basically taking up a complete parking space. We wish we could accommodate folks with that much extra room around their vehicles, but we are limited on parking spaces, sorry. |

ADA / ALTER ABLED CAMPING We do our best for our physically impaired patrons. The ADA Camp will be located just past the rim of the amphitheater Bowl. |

PARKING DRIVERS- PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS GIVEN TO YOU BY PARKING PERSONNEL. NO PARKING ALONG PUMPKIN RIDGE ROAD AT ALL. NO PARKING IN THE BOX OFFICE LOT EXCEPT TO EXCHANGE TICKETS FOR WRISTBANDS AND GET SEARCHED. NO PARKING ON OTHER PROPERTY IN THE SURROUNDING NEIGHBORHOOD. YOUR VEHICLE WILL BE TOWED IF YOU DO NOT OBSERVE THESE RULES.
|

RE-ENTRY POLICY Patrons will be permitted to exit and re-enter the event if they do so according to event requirements. We do encourage patrons to bring enough supplies for the entire event. During times of heavy incoming traffic, exiting vehicles may experience delays. A Cutoff Time for Re-Entry will be posted at the gate and visible upon exit. Vehicles returning after the Re-Entry Cutoff Time will not be admitted but will be permitted to park over night in the upper lot. However, patrons will be required to stay in their vehicles, no camping, and no cooking allowed. Intoxicated persons will not be re-admitted. Your vehicle will be searched any time you enter the site. All persons must have the proper event ticket, pass, wristband and ID or they will be required to purchase another ticket.
Main Gates re-open at 9AM.

MEDICAL & SAFETY There are medical locations. Please notify any event staff member you can locate or any member of the Staff with a radio to report any medical or security issues.
|

SAFETY ISSUES • Drink plenty of water!
• If you're going to consume alcohol, please do so wisely.
• Wear plenty of sunscreen.
• Carry and use a flashlight at night. Bring extra batteries.
|

TENT SAFETY Cover your tent stakes with inverted plastic water bottles so people don't cut themselves on the sharp edges. Mark the outside of your tent with a piece of cloth so you can find your tent amongst the many others. Bring a small lock to increase security of your belongings. Lock all valuables in your car! We cannot be held responsible for stolen items.
|

OTHER CAMPING INFO During concert events Horning’s Hideout offers camping only to ticket holders. There are no power and water hook ups. We offer the large camping spaces to people as a way for ticket holders who wish to camp together to do so. The camping areas will be separate from the parking areas. Drinking water is also available for no fee. A variety of independent vendors will be selling food and crafts for the duration of the event. Ice and bottled water will be available for purchase. An ATM will be onsite. We encourage patrons to bring enough cash to last the three-day weekend. Portable toilets and hand washing stations are located throughout the Hideout. Telephones will be available to the public for local calls.
|

BEER AND WINE GARDEN You can purchase our reasonably priced selection of quality micro-brews and wine and sit on the slope of the amphitheater in full view of the stage. We cannot allow outside alcoholic beverages onto the property. We ask that you drink sensibly and remember to consume copious amount of WATER so that you do not dehydrate (we expect it to be very hot at this festival). It would be a bummer if you dehydrated and slept through any of the nighttime music.
|

FOOD AND CRAFT VENDING A Food and Craft Village will be available for your enjoyment and needs.
Our policy for food vendors is to serve good food at reasonable prices. Because of health code rules and safety reasons NO UNAUTHORIZED FOOD VENDING will be allowed. This will be strictly enforced for your safety to ensure that all food served on property meets health and sanitaion codes.
Please stop by and visit the craft folks who work hard to make a difference in our world with their unique cottage businesses. PLEASE NO UNAUTHORIZED VENDING. This will be strictly enforced.
|

DEPARTURE Everyone will be required to leave by 12 noon the day following the show.
Please take some time to help clean the property by taking all garbage to the giant garbage containers located near your campground (it helps us maintain a clean and safe environment for you). Also at the garbage containers you will find containers for recycling. Please, recycle what you can to help out the event and the planet and LEAVE ONLY FOOTPRINTS behind!
|
